Most Advanced Data Recovery Tools In Industry
Clean Rooms
A clean room is a work area with controlled temperature and humidity to protect sensitive equipment from contamination. Common features include plastic walls and ceilings, external lighting, and a continuous influx of clean, dust-free air. The room must be cleaned daily to prevent contamination.
Clean room technology is essential for performing basic recovery procedures. For example, any physically damaged hard disk must be recovered in a clean room to preserve the initial state of the media. Without a clean room, contaminants can settle on the platters, which can affect the data recovery process; after the hard disk’s platters have become contaminated, the heads can catch on the foreign particles, scratching the platter surface and resulting in permanent data loss.
YYC Data Recovery has High-tech data recovery facilities with Class 100 clean rooms.
All in-house service (at our labs)
We respect our clients privacy as proven by our SSAE 18 Type II Certification. All recovery procedures are performed in our labs. We do not outsource recovery procedures to any third party. Your media never leaves our company.

Type of Levels Of Data Recovery
We categorize our Data Recovery Service to 3 levels depending on the damage in order to make it cost effective. Come visit us and we will give you a quote and walk you through the process of our Data Recovery.
Level 1 Data Recovery
Level 1 means the hard drive is still 100% fully functional. It is recognized by the computer and if the
user was to reformat their hard drive they would be able to continue to use it, albeit without their
original data.
Level 2 Data Recovery
Level 2 (Local) Recovery – Applies when a hard drive is not mechanically defective or physically damaged, but either the drive cannot be “seen” by the computer (or by Windows) or the data can be “seen” but not read by Windows, indicating that the data or file system is corrupt. Level 2 data recovery involves PCB firmware issue, stuck head, hard Drive PCB issues.
Level 3 Data Recovery
Level 3 means the hard drive will require extensive cleanroom work to enable any recovery.
Typical level 3 recoveries involve head crashes where the drive’s heads have come into contact with the disk surfaces. This usually causes damage to the both the disks and the heads. level 3 data recovery involves lab environment work like Head stack assembly replacement, Platter cleaning.
